Importing Sketchup Models Into 3DSMax

So you’ve created a great model in Google’s Sketchup and
now wish to bring it into 3DS Max for high-end rendering
purposes… great! It’s actually a rather simple process,
but there are a few tricks to it that not many people know
about that can save you time and frustration!

We're going to jump right into it! Go ahead and open
up your SketchUp file.

- Under the file menu, choose Export > 3d Model.
- A browser window will appear, allowing you to choose where you will save the file to and what you will
name it. Here you may also choose the Export Type. (Note: In order to have full exporting options you
will need to have a licensed copy of Sketchup Pro.)
- For this tutorial we will not be adjusting the default exporting
options, but it is important to know how to change them. The
actual ‘options’ button is very easy to overlook – it is located in
the bottom right corner of the same browser window where you
save your file
